Our MRI-compatible camera is a specially designed to operate safely within the magnetic field and electromagnetic environment of an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) machine. MRI machines use extremely strong magnetic fields, radio waves, and gradients, which can interfere with electronic devices, causing them to malfunction or even become hazardous. MRI-compatible cameras are designed to withstand these extreme conditions while providing high-quality imaging for medical, research, and diagnostic purposes.
The MRI-compatible camera is installed behind the MRI bore room wall and works in the MRI scan room without causing any artifacts in the MRI data. There is a console monitor which is used to view the patient and is placed inside the MRI console room.
MRI-compatible camera supplied as a set with integration box, filter, all cables, and a 10" monitor. Easy installation of the video camera in the MRI room. The system utilises fibre optic technology so that there is no risk of artefacts on the scan.
All components of the camera (including lenses, sensors, and electronics) are designed to avoid interference with the MRI machine
These cameras are designed with shielding to prevent interference from the MRI's radiofrequency (RF) signals, ensuring that the camera's performance does not degrade during scans.
MRI-compatible cameras are often designed to be smaller and lighter, as they may need to be positioned near the MRI's scanning area (without affecting the patient's comfort or the scan itself).
MRI cameras must also meet stringent safety standards to ensure that they do not cause harm to patients or medical staff, particularly during the strong magnetic fields produced during an MRI scan
The camera offer high-resolution imaging to capture details needed for analysis during the procedure
